Rosengarten I – TRANSIT [Intro]

Mit dem Bau eines Strassentunnels und einer neuen Tramlinie soll Zürich’s „Rosengarten“ bis 2032 von Lärm und Abgasen befreit werden. Die Kurzfilmreihe „Rosengarten I-IV“ dokumentiert den Status Quo und konserviert den „Rosengarten“ als Teilstück der Westtangente für kommende Generationen in Bild und Ton.
Die Tetralogie beginnt im fahrenden Auto mit TRANSIT.

The construction of a tunnel and a new tram line are expected to drastically cut the current noise and exhaust pollution along Zurich’s „Rose Garden“ by 2032. The short film series Rosengarten I-IV documents the current situation, preserving the Rosengarten segment of the Westtangente in picture and sound for generations to come.
